ODDA – ‘Mama’

Isle of Wight-based singer-songwriter ODDA has shared the video for debut single ‘Mama’. Counting Bon Iver, Feist and Phoebe Bridgers as key influences, the song finds him exploring what it means to be human and all of the emotions that it entails…

Evocative guitar hooks in the vein of Keaton Henson or Luke Sital-Singh open the song as ODDA ruminates on whether breathing is a waste of time and how others’ actions can affect your state of mind. He then gently invites you to step into his circle and reveals how sometimes it can be so hard to speak about your feelings…
