Cloud Nothings – ‘Death Keeps Me Alive’

Cloud Nothings have returned with ‘Death Keeps Me Alive’, the first single to be taken from upcoming album ‘What Kind of Hell Did You Survive?’, which will be released via Pure Noise Records on 29 January, 2026.

The song hints at a louder, heavier but no less melodic sound – with Dylan Baldi living out his metal dreams: ‘Lyrically, ‘Death Keeps Me Alive’ is from the point of view of a lurking evil power that never gets fully defeated in the world and feeds off of death, war and hate, which is kind of a fun generically ‘metal’ thing to sing about.’

There are elements of Meat Wave, Refused or The Bronx in the crashingly relentless drums, ferocious riffs and even Dylan’s screams, especially in the closing ‘I will never die’.
