Big Thief guitarist Buck Meek has released stand-alone single ‘Roll Back Your Clocks’ via the ever-excellent Keeled Scales label. Recorded in lockdown so that Buck and his bandmates (who are scattered around the States) wouldn’t hear each other’s parts until they’d been mixed together by Andrew Sarlo, the song is a sublime slice of nature-themed Americana as Buck talks about treetops dancing by the window and casting shadows.
