t’s been such a strange year and in the spirit of togetherness and community, we’re going to be counting down to Christmas by sharing a selection of our – and our friends’ – favourite festive songs. Today, we’ve chosen ‘Christmas (All Year Long)’ by The Cribs.

It’s another addition to the festive cannon of songs and it’s one the Jarman brothers have been promising for a while (it perfectly complements those Cribsmas jumpers, after all). It opens with a burst of Christmas-infused stadium-style guitar riffs before the band sing about all the things that sum up the spirit of the season: fairy lights, being a ‘king in a paper crown’ and a hopeful declaration of ‘So promise ’till next Christmas, we’ll keep the spirit with us’.
