Bleach Lab – ‘Flood’

Bleach Lab follow up ‘Never Be’ and Old Ways’ with new single ‘Flood’ – the final song to be released ahead of their debut EP ‘A Calm Sense of Surrounding (out on 19 March).

Jenna Kyle says ”Flood’ is one long metaphor for being completely overwhelmed and overcome by someone and losing all sense of control within them’. The band’s heaviest track so far, its intensity recalls contemporary post-rock giants like God Is An Astronaut but with a sensibility that nods towards the UK’s shoegaze legends including Slowdive. Jenna sings ‘I’m in his words, I’m in his mouth, I’m in his mind’ as thundering drums and powerful riffs collide quite beautifully before things settle down once more.
