Gwenno has shared ‘Dancing on Volcanoes’, the lead single from her new album ‘Utopia’, due out on 11 July, 2025 via Heavenly Recordings.

With a focus on ‘the need to dance as a cathartic act’, the song is packed with indie-pop sensibilities (the press release says ‘a motorik-fuelled version of The Smiths’) and foot-shuffling melody as Gwenno looks back on what should have been carefree days with a touch of adult wisdom: ‘Are we all here because of trauma?’
