Having shared stages with Julien Baker, Lucy Dacus and Tori Amos in the states, Brooklyn-based piano and violin duo Gracie and Rachel are now making waves in the UK with the release of new single ‘WTF’ ahead of some shows supporting Ani DiFranco on these shores.

Dreamy and poignantly powerful from its very first note, the rhythmic, almost hypnotic song – with touches of Loney, Dear in its heartfelt nature or a Wickerman-obsessed First Aid Kit in its atmospheric chamber-folk – finds the duo tenderly harmonising the words ‘what the fuck’ as they ponder why they feel like they’re spiralling and how everything feels so bad before their dreams and how ‘now the loser gets to win’
