Home Counties have shared ‘Humdrum’, the title track from their eagerly awaited second album, out on 24 October, 2025 via Submarine Cat Records. The record has been produced by Al Doyle from Hot Chip and LCD Soundsytem.

The 3 and a half minute song finds the band worrying about saying the wrong thing – and the stewing over that is almost certain to follow: ‘I haven’t felt this small since 2003’. With its bouncing bass, joyous melody and touch of art rock, it sounds somewhat akin to The Postal Service covering Talking Heads.
