Irish alt-rockers NewDad have shared new single ‘Roobosh’ ahead of the release of second album ‘Altar’ on 19 September.

Instantly familiar, the song shows why the band can count Robert Smith amongst their fans. It finds Julie Dawson letting her frustrations loose – ‘Hate that every day’s the same and it’s too late for you to change your ways’ – against a brooding Depeche Mode-esque bass line and potent pop hooks.
