La Dispute have shared the video for ‘Saturation Diver’, a song that features as part of Act IV on forthcoming record ‘No One Was Driving the Car’.

Heavily inspired by the film ‘First Reformed’ , this act of the record follows two characters as they move into an otherworldly beyond. This song in particular follows the narrator as he realises he is still on Earth after the ‘rapture’ and takes on a reflective tone, talking about loneliness, mortality and a ‘TV, muted, plays disaster films inside an empty home’. This stream-of consciousness – ‘fires burning in the snow’ – is delivered against tribal God is an Astronaut meets Arab Strap-esque atmospherics.
