The Cribs have made a welcome return with ‘Summer Seizures’, the lead single from upcoming album ‘Selling a Vibe’ (coming out on 9 January, 2026).

Working with Chairlift’s Patrick Wimberly (who has produced Solange, MGMT and Lil Yachty),the song finds the band embracing a pop-meets-new wave aesthetic as they sing about ‘love, tragedy and leaving to live with yourself’ .

Opening with a Guided by Voices-esque intro and jangly Teenage Fanclub-esque hooks, the Jarmans talk about ‘times that never last’, ‘trying to let go’ and how ‘my friend, New York, wish I knew yer’…
