After an extended break to concentrate on real life matters, Alpha Male Tea Party have returned with ‘Battle Crab’ – and now added vocals to their mashup of mathy riffs and gripping grooves.

There’s a touch of Million Dead or Glassjaw in the aggressive nature, but also touching sensibilities around anxiety and feeling out of place – especially when the ‘lads’ (and it’s always men) you’re with would rather focus on violence than the joys of 10CC or Steely Dan.
