Club Brat – ‘Goodbye Pop Culture’

Originally from Peterborough but now split between Bristol and London, Club Brat are the latest signings to Venn Records (Meryl Streek, Clobber and previously Bob Vylan) and they’ve shared ‘Goodbye Pop Culture’ ahead of the release of the conveniently titled ‘Four Songs’ EP on 12 September.

Described by the band as ‘concise, deliberate, and unapologetically direct’, this hard-hitting slice of Shellac-esque punk opens with a rant about missing breakfast before an admittance that ‘I don’t wanna have these conversations, facetious conversations’ and, a touch later, confrontations.
