Yorkshire art-rockers Deadletter have shared ‘To the Brim’ ahead of the release of sophomore album ‘Existence is Bliss’ on 27 February, 2026 via SO Recordings. The band said: ‘To the Brim explores the experience of dealing and living with denial and the way in which it will leave you feeling incapacitated and overflowing (brimming!) with despair. Musically, we wanted a fresh start,perhaps in reaction to that denial.’

A minute-long build up with bursts of brass and chimes makes way for something altogether more moody and mysterious, as the band demand answers to the following questions: ‘Who’s got something that they want to say? Who’s got something to declare?’ This is followed by talk of contraband and pleas of innocence – all against an art rock sound that somehow manages to blend elements of the Bad Seeds with Babyshambles and some call-and-response vocals: ‘Give me something… I’ve got nothing’.
