Rosie Carney has shared ‘Sixteen’, the fourth and final single to be taken from her fourth studio album ‘Doomsday… Don’t Leave Me Here’ (out on 27 February, 2026).
Nostalgic and contemplative, it finds Rosie looking back on her youth and how she was ‘better off leaning on my sisters than some idiot who probably wouldn’t give a shit anyway’. Combining these deeply personal thoughts with glitchy atmospherics and electronic textures – plus the alt-folk sound that’s served her so well in the past – this is a poignant song with a blends Sharon Van Etten-style melodies with a dose of dream pop.
