Lime Gardeb have shared new single ’23’ ahead of the release of second album ‘Maybe Not Tonight’ via So Young Records on 10 April, 2026. The band have also announced details of an extensive UK tour in October.
Vocalist and guitarist Chloe Howard says the song was ‘born from a dream I had where I was talking to my younger self. In the dream I was essentially ripping into my own personality and lack of success’. Opening with a buzzy, bouncy bass line that recalls LCD Soundsystem (Chloe even mentions she’s ‘losing her edge’…), the song has a toe-tapping groove and touch of nostalgia as she recalls ‘looking back on this wasted time’. As Cribs-esque guitar hooks are added to the mix, Chloe demands: ‘Watch me decompose while striking a pose. I can feel myself getting overgrown, I can’t face it any more’
