Peter Cat – ‘Keeping Up with Jacob’ video stream

Hailing from London, Peter Cat have unveiled the video for ‘Keeping Up with Jacob’ and its one full of macabre-style lion and parrot masks, strong dance moves and a toe-tapping melody that will quickly seep itself into your brain. But that’s something you won’t mind. Referencing everything from the Turner Prize to Billy Childish and Oscar Wilde to the ‘murky Brighton sky’, it’s a distant cousin of XTC’s ‘Making Plans for Nigel but also has the sense of fun and hooks that served the Coral so well, alongside a touch of the Divine Comedy’s mischievous nature.
