Glaswegian four-piece Lucia’s ‘Summertime’ will help you see out what’s been a glorious season in marvellously melancholic style. Lucia Fairfull reminisces about holiday romances and the carefree joys of being a teenager: ‘I only love you in the summertime and summertime’s nearly done’.

Produced by Jim Abbiss (Arctic Monkeys, Adele) and mixed by Craig Silvey (Arcade Fire, Florence and the Machine), the 3-minute pop song combines the heartfelt honesty of The Spook School with hooks inspired by ’60s girl groups.
