New Super Fan 99 Records signings Cape Weather is the ’60s Americana-meets-soulful pop-inspired result of a collaboration between old friends Natalie Smith and Eric Jackowitz. Described by Luke at the label as ‘the most Super Fan band of them all’, the melancholy single ‘Never Say’ opens with a Ronettes-style drum machine as Natalie looks back over the end of something special amidst a sound reminiscent of both Jenny Lewis and Beach House: ‘After the party I came to realise now is the time we should both say goodbye’.
