laughingstock, a four-piece from Bellingham, Washington state, have shared the video for ‘Something Lite’ ahead of the release of their sophomore album ‘Is This Being Vulnerable’ on 17 April (pre-order via Bandcamp).

With a diverse array of influences including The National, Real Estate, Oso Oso and The 1975, the band split singing and songwriting duties and this song falls into the anthemic indie-meets-twinkly emo sound as they look back on a summer with a hint of nostalgia (‘at every show the cops came but we made cash’) and reflect on some of their actions with some regret: ‘I’ll start winning and you’ll start getting really sick of it’.
