It’s been such a strange year and in the spirit of togetherness and community, we’re going to be counting down to Christmas by sharing a selection of our – and our friends’ – favourite festive songs. Today, we’ve chosen ‘Good Luck It’s Christmas’ by Tellison.

Tellison have always had a touch of heartfelt sensitivity in their indie-rock anthems so it’s not a surprise that their quiet and contemplative festive offering had a poignancy in its message as Stephen H. Davidson laments the fact ‘Bad Luck is at my home. He won’t leave me alone. I think he knows you’re out of town and that’s why he keeps coming round’. He finishes the song with a plea that’s sure to break your heart: ‘Please don’t let me down, it’s Christmas’.
