Hailing from Fort Wayne, Indiana, Calder have shared new single ‘Dandelions’ ahead of the release of an as-yet untitled new album. The single has a jaunty and breezy sound that recalls acts like Whitney and My Morning Jacket while the pared-down drums expertly complement short blasts of Buck Meek-style guitar. Meanwhile, the delivery of the lyrics – ‘I’ll be there to tell you it’s alright’ – are warming and reassuring.
