dog eyes, a Bay Area indie-folk duo made up of Hailey Firstman and Davis Leach, have shared the sublime ‘nano’ ahead of the release of new EP ‘blue bird rain cloud’ on 25 July via Grand Jury.

Reminiscent of this year’s Great Grandpa album but mixed with the sensibilities of Loney, Dear and the gentle experimentalism of Animal Collective, the song features a delicate piano loop and layered, dreamy vocals that look at how things can become big or small, depending on both your age and perspective: ‘Nano iPod, lighthouse in the fog’.
