Doves’ guitarist and vocalist Jez Williams has shared ‘Hollow Me’ ahead of the release of his debut solo album ‘Life of Me and You’ on 26 February, 2027. A song about the pressures and always-on nature of modern life – plus the sheer amount of misinformation out there – Jez wrote it in one go, with what he describes as an AC/DC-style heavy rock riff driving it forwards while we also hear psych elements and even a touch of ‘Achtung Baby’ as Jez impassionately lays out his fears and state of mind.
