Uncle Luc, the former Stagecoach frontman Luke Barham, has returned with a short film about the recording of his much-anticipated debut album, his favourite artists and influences, his hopes and much more. Featuring three acoustic performances of ‘Owner of the Loneliest Song’, ‘Farewell Monsoon’ and ‘I Write’, the film offers a delightfully personal insight into the world of Uncle Luc as he channels his inner Llewyn Davis, but while remaining grounded and likeable as ever.
Uncle Luc’s debut solo album is one of the records we’re most looking forward to over the summer. You’ll be able to catch him in the following places:
22 June – The Lock Tavern, London (Cool for Cats Records)
5 July – Alcopopalooza, The Windmill, London
21 July – The Lock Tavern, London
3 August – Staycation Festival, Godalming
20 September – Southsea Festival, Southsea
