Inspiringly Titled exhibition takes place at Aldershot’s West End Centre, 12 – 29 September

We’ve been lucky enough to grow up in an area that has seen some incredible bands form over the years. From the likes of Hundred Reasons, Vex Red and Reuben to Meet Me in St Louis, Hold Your Horse Is, Our Lost Infantry and beyond. But where would these bands have been without the support of a loyal and passionate community?

The West End Centre in Aldershot has been the hub of this for a long time and now there’s an exhibition celebrating all the people who have contributed over the past 15 years.

A collaboration between local artists Karina Fraser, Matt Williams and Lena Mae Lenman, the exhibition holds stunning photography, artwork and a series of selfie portraits of those who have been part of this most wonderful of scenes – whether they were in a band, promoting, writing or supporting. All hand-drawn by Karina, you are sure to recognise the faces, even if you don’t know the names.

If you live around the Aldershot/Hants/Surrey area, you really should pop along and support this exhibition. It’s a celebration of how the arts can bring people together in the most beautiful way.
