As well as a stream of new single ‘Being Strange’, Indoor Pets have announced details of their long-awaited debut album ‘Be Content’. Released on Wichita on 8 March, 2019, the album is chock-full of beloved bangers and what are sure to be new favourites. It will be accompanied by a UK tour including a prestigious show at the London Scala.

An anthem for outsiders and those who defy social conventions, ‘Being Strange’ opens with emo-tinged guitars as Jamie Glass talks about his regrets and disappointments and how he’s always trying his best to be the worst, backing this way of living up with the earworm of a chorus: ‘I love being strange, it’s an easy fit for me. Where are all the other freaks living now?’ It’s then followed by early Blur-style guitars and Spring King-esque vibrancy.
