Heist or Hit Records signing Pizzagirl has unveiled ‘Blossom at my feet, flower’, the final single to be released from his upcoming EP, ‘Season 2’ (out 30 November). The dreamy sad song would perfectly soundtrack a prom scene where everything goes wrong in an ’80s teen film and has a wistful tone amidst all the spoken-word samples and synths: ‘I’m feeling left behind’.

Recorded in his bedroom studio known as the Beatzerria, Pizzagirl’s latest song has hints of Tears for Fears and other ’80s powerhouse bands but combines these with the honest attitude of bedroom pop acts like Alex G or Car Seat Headrest.
