Los Angeles-via-Boston trio Slothrust have released the video for new single ‘Double Down’ ahead of a short UK tour this January. This follows shows with Manchester Orchestra and hugely positive acclaim for fourth album ‘The Pact’.

Veering somewhere between art pop and grungey riffs that wouldn’t have sounded out of place on the first Garbage album, the song finds Leah Wellbaum in defiant mood: ‘You know I’m flying high, I’m way up in the sky, don’t even have to try’; ‘you ain’t ever gonna get me down’ as the song crunches along with well-placed harmonies and whistles.
