Hazy Stars-style synths meet the atmospheric stylings of Beach House as Katie’s vocals sway along as she questions herself: ‘I’ve got to get out of this, it makes me so tired’ and repeats of ‘I sold you out’ summing up tinges of regret. As the song moves along, there is a more West Coast sound (Katie is now based in LA) that brings back memories of the chillwave scene.
