Annabel Allum has shared ‘Altar to Alter’, the third single to be taken from her new EP ‘Gravel Not the Grave’ (out on 13 September via Killing Moon).

Recorded with Adrian Hall, the three-minute track finds Annabel delving into the Pixies-meets-The Big Moon (with a bit of Anna Calvi thrown in for good measure) sound that she excels at so well. A protest song about standing up for what you believe in and what’s right, it finds Annabel snarling ‘Here we stand, raise your hands, raise your voices’ before a climactic flourish of repeats of the words ‘something’s got to change’ – a statement we all need to get behind.
