M. Ward has shared ‘Unreal City’, the second single to be taken from upcoming album ‘Migration Stories’ (out on 3 April via Anti Records). Opening with space-age synths, M. Ward starts the song with some perfectly pitched ‘da da das’ as he looks back on dreams of helicopter rides and dreams not coming true. Recorded at Arcade Fire’s Montreal studio with the Canadian band’s Tim Kingsbury and Richard Reed, the song finishes with dream-pop melodies, a typically fine guitar solo and repeats of the title of the track.
