Norwich five-piece Marigolds have shared new single ‘Spinning’ ahead of the release of new EP ‘Hot Springs’ via Beth Shalom Records on 20 March. The EP follows support slots to bands including Turnover and Spring King and the band say they ‘see this EP as a step forward for Marigolds. Each song offers enough versatility for each track to possess its own identity, whilst also being able to sit cohesively under the umbrella of the Hot Springs project.”

With faltering drums and Kinsella-style emo guitar hooks, the dual vocals add a dreamy element as the band sing about love (‘I feel like the world stopped spinning’; ‘I just want to sink into you’) and regrets (‘when did I get so attached?’) with equal levels of tenderness.
