Eerie Gaits, John Ross from Wild Pink’s solo project, have shared new single ‘The Rainbow Trout and the Wicker Creel’ from upcoming album ‘Holopaw’ (released on 10 April via sound as language).

The instrumental piece has elements of the shoegaze-tinged and anthemic indie rock that Wild Pink specialise in so well but there’s also a childlike sense of wonder and curiosity running throughout. Think Grandaddy or Sigur Ros aiming for a chart hit – before it finishes with 20 seconds of fragmented effects and noise.
