Eades – ‘Forget What You Want’

Eades have shared new single ‘Forget What You Want’ ahead of the release of debut EP ‘Microcosmic Things’ through their own Bam Bam Records on 10 July.

Flitting between art rock, new wave and a toe-tapping pop sound, ‘Forget What You Want’ is a foot-shuffling song perfect for indie clubs once they reopen. There’s a fun, lo-fi approach running throughout the song with the lively rhythm section backing some powerful guitar solos and considered lyrics (written by vocalist Harry Jordan alongside a close friend who has struggled with addiction): ‘Forget what you want to remember. Remember what you want to forget’.
