The Cribs – ‘Never Thought I’d Feel Again’

The Cribs have shared the video for ‘Never Thought I’d Feel Again’ ahead of the release of their eighth album, ‘Night Network’, on Friday 13 November. Describing the song as ‘Wakefield Motown’, the Jarman brothers said: ‘We wrote this song with a very simple goal in mind – we wanted something very simple, dancey and positive/uplifting.’

They achieve their objective within minutes as jangly riffs, introspective lyrics and the driving rhythm section combine in bittersweet fashion: ‘Baby, I don’t know if I’ve thought this through now, maybe it’s too much to ask of you. Come on, let me know if you feel it too’.

The band have also lined up a UK tour for next summer:
11.06.21 – The Roundhouse – LONDON
14.06.21 – O2 Institute – BIRMINGHAM
15.06.21 – Boiler Shop – NEWCASTLE
17.06.21 – SWG3 Galvanizers – GLASGOW
18.06.21 – Academy – MANCHESTER
20.06.21 – Piece Hall – HALIFAX
