Leeds-based four-piece Bad Idea are the latest band to sign with our friends over at Rose Coloured Records and ‘Winter’ is a potent blast of lo-fi anxiety pop with emo tendencies and sugar-sweet hooks – think Muncie Girls meets Tellison. Lead singer Sarah first discusses money worries and playing the fool before declaring ‘I do what I can’ and making a promise that ‘I try to stay honest’ despite the fact ‘I can’t take any more’.
