Rosehip Teahouse have shared the video for their new single ‘No Gloom’ ahead of an appearance at this year’s virtual SXSW event. The video features singer songwriter Faye Rogers’ dog, Chucky, in a starring role while the song itself sits somewhere between the emo-tinged chamber pop of Great Grandpa and a dreamy shoegaze sound. Faye wonders aloud ‘Maybe one day we’ll go on a date, but for now I think I’ll wait’ before then putting their heart on the line: ‘I want you to hold me and tell me the things we’ll feel, like if we want to get ice cream’; ‘I think I like you too much and it hurts’.
