The Early Mornings – ‘Blank Sky’

Manchester trio The Early Mornings have shared new single ‘Blank Sky’ ahead of the release of debut EP ‘Unnecessary Creation’ on 18 June. The deliberately wiry and angular guitar hooks driving the tempo of the song flick between early Blur or Young Knives-esque melodic moments and the more artsy, riff-laden side of TV Priest and Dry Cleaning, all while Annie Leader delivers impassioned words about religion, the media, witchcraft, the wealth divide and the important need to ‘find the truth in nonsense’.
