Hailing from the beautiful city of Bath, the brilliantly named Teenage Tom Petties have shared new double A-side single ‘Posters’ and ‘My First Beer’. ‘Posters’ reminded us of early Cloud Nothings with its fuzzy, frenetic and fantastically jangly hooks, while the lyrics (and song title) has a touch of Jeffrey Lewis as Tom Brown reminisces on his teenage box room before trying to find some independence.

Also clocking in under 2 minutes, ‘Hold My Beer’ has the repeated nostalgic mantra of ‘I remember my first beer, it hasn’t been the same since then’ while the rapid riffs offer Guided by Voices vibes.
