Following praise from NME, Kerrang! and Radio 1’s Jack Saunders and ahead of the release of new EP ‘You’re Welcome’ (out on 19 May via Big Scary Monsters) and extensive tour dates including a slot opening for Iggy Pop, Lambrini Girls have shared new single ‘Lads Lads Lads’. Taking aim at lad culture – ‘the shit stain on the bathroom floor and toxic masculinity is the toilet paper that refuses to unstick from the shoe of society. Nobody wins’ – it’s three minutes and 11 seconds of pure punk rock, packed with raw emotion and ferocious riffs that remind us of label mates Meat Wave while the words about guys smashing glasses and looking for trouble when they see anything different – ‘Of course, I was offended. His fingernails were painted’; ‘I’m a real man and I’ll knock you into next week’ – perfectly capture the nasty nature of ‘Lads lads lads’.
