Westside Cowboy have shared new single ‘Dobro’ ahead of the release of their debut album ‘It Goes On’ via Island Records on 21 August, 2026. Guitarist Jimmy Bradbury takes on the lead vocals for this razor-sharp slice of slacker pop, a song the band say could be ‘For perhaps a younger self? For that moment of waiting and isolation in the hopes of a return. Or it could just be a song with a weird guitar’.

Falling somewhere between The Strokes’ more restrained efforts, a glam rock stomp and Big Thief’s delicate and spirited nature, the song is short and and sharp as Jimmy reveals how he’s ready to move on from heartbreak and pain. ‘I’ve got nothing left to say to you’.
