Norwegian power-punk trio Spielbergs have shared ‘Five On It’, the opening song on from their eagerly anticipated album, ‘This Is Not the End’ (out on 1 February via By the Time It Gets Dark Records – pre-order here).

It’s a thrilling anthem from the very first note – managing to combine the snarl of early Oasis with the melodic tendencies of the great US emo bands – and then throwing in plenty of fuzzy feedback as the cherry on the top. It’s the best kind of song to kick off an album – and your year.
