Following an incredible live appearance at Bernie Sanders’ University of New Hampshire rally (you’ve seen the photo of Julian Casablancas next to a cop, right?), The Strokes have shared the video for new single ‘At the Door’ – the New York band’s first new material in seven years. The five-piece have also announced details of a new record ‘The New Abnormal’ to be released on 10 April this year.

The new single will take you back to the mid 2000s with its slower tempo and dreamy MGMT vibes. More experimental, restrained and unlike anything the band has released before, it hints that this new record might find the band exploring new territories while still retaining their trademark melodic hooks. We’re stoked to hear new songs from The Strokes.
