The new single hints at an exuberant – yet still tinged with sadness – tone to the new album as Mackenzie Scott talks about funerals possibly being called off and falling in lust and love before defiantly declaring ‘From here on I’m swimming’. This is all delivered against a boisterous backdrop of ’80s-tinged synths and riffs that pack a punch.
