Alcopop! Records’ signings Snow Coats have shared ‘Right Fit’ – the first new material to be taken from an album due to be released next year. Anouk van der Kamp says the song tackles that phase in a relationship when things start to grind to a halt through no fault of either party: ”Right Fit’ is about growing apart from someone – you keep trying to do the right thing but you feel like you’re just never going to be enough. You know things have run their course but you don’t want to say it out loud just yet’.

Against a backdrop of Pip Blom-meets-Hop Along melodic (and melancholic) hook, Anouk ponders how she always wants to do the right thing for everyone – and part of that is not lying to the loved one: ‘I’m sorry if it’s not enough, I’m sorry if I’m not enough’.
